Middle School
Where it all started
Hunter and Chloe first crossed paths back in middle school — just kids who had no idea what was ahead. Life took them in different directions for a while, but some things have a way of finding their way back.

Reconnecting
Years later, in early 2018, the two reconnected. What started as catching up quickly turned into something neither of them expected.

First date — Monhegan Island
Their first date was a full day spent hiking Monhegan Island off the coast of Boothbay — exploring trails around the island, snapping photos, and trying food from the little shops along the way. It set the tone for everything that followed.

Hampton Beach
Their first big trip together took them to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, for a few sun-soaked days by the water — the kind of trip that confirmed this was something worth holding onto.
2022
A week in Florida
In 2022 they packed up for a week-long getaway to Florida, trading Maine winters for warm air and plenty of time just being together.

The proposal
On the docks of Whale's Tale, with friends and family quietly watching from the restaurant above, Hunter got down on one knee and Chloe said yes — completely surprised, completely overjoyed.
